The GBC 1757392 shredder cross-cuts pieces of paper, credit cards, ATM cards, plastic or laminated identification cards, as well as CDs and DVDs into 1/6 x 1 7/9-inch pieces, thus providing maximum security for your letters and records that can give away your identity or your business marketing strategy or the secret ingredients of your products. In case you forget to remove the paper clips and staple wires binding the papers together, you need not worry as the cutter's blades are tough and sharp enough for them.
You can process up to 12 sheets of paper at the same time for a quick shredding. Working at a rate of 6.5 feet per minute, it takes approximately 10 seconds to cut though a regular size stationery. Compounding these, the GBC shredder can process 72 to 78 sheets of paper in one minute.
A 9-inch wide slot accepts papers and plastics for shredding. On its front end is an indicator lamp that turns red if too many sheets of paper is inserted. Once this is corrected and the papers are re-introduced into the slot, the machine will automatically turn itself on.
